Due to federal spending cuts, this program is temporarily on hold. We are committed to present this opportunity to provide fresh, nutritionally dense foods to those in need while supporting local farms and stimulating our local economy. We are actively seeking new sources of funding to continue this valuable community partnership.
We are currently focusing our search to find small farms, ranches and producers in the area in hopes of keeping this revenue within Nevada County and stimulating our local economy and food production.

As the cost of living increases across the nation more families are finding it difficult to make ends meet. Nutritious food is vital for staying healthy, focused and productive. During these turbulent times food insecurities are on the rise and it is more important than ever to keep our community strong and thriving.

We need produce all year long and we can arrange to purchase your crop, eggs or milk when it is ready. This will allow small farms to plan, plant and harvest without worrying about finding a buyer. This is a great option for starting or expanding a new field.
We are also interested in purchasing #2 or extras…
