GV Briar Patch, December's Donate at the register goes to Food Bank of Nevada County!
September 17, 2022 • 5-10pm
We aim to connect local industries with the families that need them. The event will incorporate local farms, restaurants, art, and our rich history. Guests will be transported through the rolling hills of our beautiful county while tasting the delectable cuisine of The Ham Stand utilizing foods from our local farms and restaurants. The backdrop of the Historic North Star House will rest in front of the sunset as each guest sips on local wine and micro brews.
Throughout the event there will be a drawing and silent auction where guests have an opportunity to acquire one of a kind artwork from local area Artisans. As a finale to the event, Dream and the Dreamer will shake and move the evening into a Nevada County night you won't forget.
All proceeds will go to feeding Nevada County families in need!
This event will be held at the North Star Historic Conservancy in Grass Valley, a symbol of the deep history that runs through our community. The house, which has been a pillar of Nevada County since its construction in 1905, was built around the North Star Mine, a very successfully active mine from 1851-1956 .
Currently, the North Star Historic Conservancy is a non-profit organization that works to preserve the rich history of our county through preservation of the house.
For more information and a more in-depth history, visit their website at The North Star House | The North Star House .
We are excited to announce that our local band, Dream and the Dreamer will be performing live at this event!
Dream and the Dreamer perform the music you know and love including originals, reggae, and funk! You may have seen them for Thursday Market in downtown Grass Valley! We hope you join us in dancing the night away with this delightful band at our Harvest Moon event.
The Ham Stand will be providing food at our Harvest Moon Event!
The Ham Stand is a family-owned and operated local butchery specializing in artisanal European-style cured meats, sandwiches, and so much more! Dive into some delicious food with us this September! Tickets will be on sale August 1st.
